Bidwells wins ‘Employer of the Year’ in Scotland
Bidwells Scotland was delighted to win the ‘Employer of the Year Award’ at last month’s (November) Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards.
Over 400 guests, comprising local business leaders and politicians, attended the annual awards dinner at Crieff Hydro Hotel. Having been short-listed for the accolade against stiff competition, the Bidwells contingent was kept waiting until near the end of the evening to discover if they had won.
Finlay Clark, Managing Partner, Scotland who accepted the trophy on behalf of the firm, said:
“Anyone who employs people, recognises that if you have motivated, happy, engaged staff then your business can thrive. If you look after your staff and give them opportunities, they will look after you.”
A spokesperson on behalf of the Chamber said:
“On behalf of the President and Board of Directors of the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce I would like to congratulate Bidwells on its success at the recent Business Star Awards. After a lengthy and thorough judging process, the judges felt you were very worthy winners and should be recognised for your hard work and dedication and we hope you are delighted with your achievement in the OCO Westend Employer of the Year category.”
We are also very proud of our Accounts Apprentice Patrick Brown who was a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category.
