Constructing 24 new student and fellow rooms in the heart of one of Cambridge’s oldest colleges was no mean feat. Completed within budget and before a new academic year, South Court extension was provided with larger rooms and low running costs - attracting the brightest students and fellows.
In 2018, Janus House was an under-performing commercial asset – it is now Grade A office space. Completing works above live retail units meant Emmanuel needed a consultant that could work quickly without compromising on quality.
Our multi-disciplinary team offers an all-encompassing service to Emmanuel.

On St Andrew’s House, the college owned the freehold; a mix of retail and office space. When the opportunity arose to purchase the long leasehold, we were instructed to act. With a block multi-let to 21 tenants at a gross interest of £1.633m a year, we knew the project had to be efficient, so actively marketed the vacant 49,000 sq ft office space.
We worked collaboratively to ensure the advice we provided was second-to-none and supports the optimisation of their student accommodation, commercial offices and retail space. We continuously endeavour to come up with solutions that are both innovative and cost effective.
