Our expertise was required to conclude property agreements ahead of the construction of a new windfarm.

As part of the property due diligence, we implemented the strategy to ensure all necessary property rights were documented to construct, generate and export to the national grid, and that the payment structures, lease plan preparation and title reports were sound. 

Because of our deep knowledge of the project, we were able to provide all necessary services for RES, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company, and bring the project to the next stage – construction. The build started in summer 2020 and by September 2021, all 14 turbines were erected. 

Expected to create more than £3.9m of inward investment for the local economy during the wind farm’s construction and first year of operation, Blary Hill will be capable of generating clean, low-carbon and low-cost renewable electricity for around 33,000 homes, making an important contribution towards achieving Scotland’s target of net zero.
