We pushed Mastercard into second place at the B2B Marketing Awards by picking up Best Thought Leadership Campaign and Best Limited Budget campaign at the gala virtual ceremony.

The double win comes a week after winning an international award for Best Thought Leaders at The Drum Awards, beating global marketing giants Mastercard, IBM and AT&T.

The Drum is a global media platform and the biggest marketing website in Europe and the USA and judged by a panel of global marketing industry leaders.

Judges at the B2B Awards highlighted the “real business impact” made by the campaign pointing out that “few marketing campaigns have produced ideas subsequently included in the UK Budget”.

Working in partnership with international architects Perkins + Will and strategists Blackstock Consulting, Bidwells’ Radical Regeneration Manifesto campaign has played a major role in developing a vision for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc economic area.

The team conceived, created and delivered 16 planning and economic policy recommendations to the UK Treasury, and built and led a coalition of the UK’s most influential property leaders, responsible for property assets worth more than £50billion.

Director of marketing and business development, Matt Allen, said:

“We were up against some global marketing teams with colossal budgets in all three of these award categories so it’s a special feeling and a big accolade for the team.

“What’s more, we were the only property industry team to win at either awards night so it was a proud moment to be representing an industry that is sometimes seen as quite traditional, at two award ceremonies packed full of highly creative and innovative marketing teams.”
