High Street Retail Databook

High Street footfall continues to recover following pandemic shock.

Footfall on the high street has continued to recover, recording one of the highest levels when compared to the pre pandemic period in the recent Springboard footfall survey.

Investment into the retail sector across the Arc slowed significantly in 2022, with a total of £218.6m of property trading, less than 50% of the figure traded in the previous 12 months (2021 - £451.8m).
