Steven is a chartered town planner with over eleven years’ experience within the public and private sectors.

Steven has experience across a range of sectors specialising in residential development and provides planning advice to multidisciplinary project teams to secure favourable planning outcomes.  He is experienced in identifying and then leading the promotion of major development sites through Local Plan and planning application processes to achieve allocations and high value planning permissions, with a particular focus on Essex.

Steven promotes sites for development on behalf of landowners, private and public sector organisations and local and national housebuilders and has successfully negotiated planning obligations and conditions on several proposals both at the application stage and at appeal.  Steven has devised and then implemented site promotion strategies, overseen the preparation of vision documents to local authorities, engaged with stakeholders, public consultation events, presents at seminars and has participated at Examination in Public, prepared evidence for Public Inquiry and has successfully taken forward planning applications in advance of Local Plan adoption.
