Cambridgeshire Industrial Market 2025: Renewed Demand from Knowledge Industries.

The industrial market in Cambridgeshire operated at two speeds in 2025. In the second-hand market it was business as usual with good demand from trade counters and distributors. The market for new space was slower as science and tech occupiers who had driven demand through 2022-2024 went quiet. However, the final quarter saw a revival in interest from knowledge intensive industries and over 142,000 sq ft of space was under offer at year end. Prime standard industrial and prime mid-tech rents rose to £21.00 psf and £27.50, respectively.
