The last six months has seen a sharp increase in requirements in the Cambridge office and laboratory market, with a particular upswing in companies seeking +50,000 sq ft floorplate space.
Robust take up and a significant volume of both office and laboratory space under offer at the end of H1 will deplete supply despite a number of significant completions. The laboratory market is particularly challenged with the availability rate is expected to move little from its current historic low.
