Climate Action

The Climate Action projects aim to enhance ecosystem resilience across East Dartmoor and ensure this incredible landscape thrives, benefiting us now and into the future.

Whether you are looking to enhance your corporate social responsibility or meet ESG targets, our projects can be tailored to comply with emerging reporting frameworks such as The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

We will drive meaningful climate action with the creation of woodland and wood-pasture creation.

Our 25-ha woodland creation project will generate up to 2,630 Pending Issuance Units (PIUs) under the Wilder Carbon Standard.

You can trust our nature-based carbon solutions that generate high-quality, climate-resilient carbon credits that deliver for the whole ecosystem.

Climate change is driving more frequent and severe extreme weather events, increasing flood risks for communities, businesses, and infrastructure.

Within the EDLRA, we are working hand in hand with nature to create landscapes that retain water, slow the flow, reduce flood risk, and improve water quality. Investing in natural flood management as part of our Climate Action package offers a powerful opportunity for you to protect the people and businesses that rely on this landscape.

Join us in moulding a climate-ready future today for the generations of tomorrow.

  • Our expert landowners and partners are working together to enhance 22 hectares of wet woodland alongside creating 4 hectares of novel wetlands.

  • These interventions have been expertly designed to slow water flow, deliver natural water filtration, and attenuate water, helping you to achieve water neutrality and safeguard local communities.
