Her expertise in energy infrastructure has secured permissions for battery energy storage sites and solar farms across the country, including a sensitive project within a Registered Park and Garden.

One of her achievements was guiding the restoration of a Grade II house in Rochester Conservation Area, once linked to James II. The project involved rare Tudor panelling, 18th-century joinery and a stunning staircase. Virginia negotiated a residential enabling development as part of the permission to secure the preservation of these significant features and the house..
