Keeping ahead of the curve allows Susanna to proactively advise her clients on a wide range of rural legislation.

Her keen interest in rural policy benefits our clients greatly, especially when an ever-changing political landscape throws up a raft of regulations which need to be navigated. Her attention to detail, understanding of law and ability to problem solve is right on course.
Having worked in both our Fort William and Perth offices, Susanna has a broad understanding of rural surveying in a variety of environmental and legislative settings. She prides herself on really getting to know her clients, their aspirations and individual issues before carefully advising and guiding.
In recent months Susanna has been very involved with aspects of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 and continues to advise landowning clients on complex and time critical regulations, business planning, diversification projects and tenant negotiations - crucially maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders.
She was involved at the very outset of the Kingshouse Hotel rebuilding project, managing the existing hotel business whilst bringing the new concept to the planning stage. The result has been a resounding success for Susanna, Bidwells and our landowning client.
