Richie Collins

The first decade of his career was spent as a contractor on residential and commercial projects before moving into consultancy for the past eight years. This unique combination of hands-on site experience and consultancy expertise gives Richie a rare ability to bridge the gap between contractor and client by understanding both perspectives and ensuring priorities on both sides are respected.

Richie leads every project with clarity and accountability from inception through to completion, keeping clients informed and supported at every stage, and ensuring their objectives are met. His role includes overseeing the management of external consultants, deliverables, schedules, cost control, and monthly reporting. Alongside project delivery, Richie mentors junior colleagues, sharing his knowledge and guiding them through their RICS membership journey.

Thriving in fast-paced environments, Richie excels at building strong, collaborative relationships across project teams. He takes pride in the projects he delivers, embracing each challenge and learning opportunity along the way. He approaches every project as if the client’s objectives were his own, going above and beyond to achieve outstanding outcomes. Seeing a finished building in use, particularly within the education sector where the benefits to people’s lives are immediate and lasting, is one of the most rewarding parts of his work.

Richie’s portfolio includes a wide range of complex, multi-phase projects spanning several years, across sectors such as education, hospitality, office, and residential. He is experienced in delivering projects through all RIBA stages, preparing agreement for lease specifications, and developing procurement and bespoke programme strategies, all whilst maintaining careful attention to detail. His expertise extends to working with listed buildings and their unique requirements, as well as logistically challenging sites with multiple stakeholders.
