With over 20 years’ experience, Laura turns London's most complex planning challenges into clear, deliverable approvals.

When City officers said no further design changes were possible at Aviva's 130 Fenchurch Street, Laura secured approval regardless. That persistence, paired with a keen eye for design, also won Northacre's 90,000sqm New Scotland Yard scheme beside a World Heritage Site.

As Partner and Head of London Planning, Laura leads the firm's London team, focusing on major Zone 1 and 2 projects across the City, Westminster, Lambeth, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Brent, giving commercial, delivery-focused advice across office, residential, hotel and industrial sectors.

Beyond the City, Laura has shaped estate regeneration and co-location schemes at scale, from Havering Council’s JV project with Wates Residential, set to deliver almost 3,000 homes, to over 1,500 homes at Neasden Goods Yard. She also secured tall building policy changes at Examination in Public.

Laura specialises in listed buildings, tall buildings, LVMF views and retrofit, on which she writes regularly. Clients trust her judgement: over 12 years at Avison Young, following roles at Brent Council and the Government Office for London, mean she understands both sides of the table.

She has a strong track record working with clients including Landsec, Aviva, Greycoat, Helical, Northacre, LS Estates, Skanska, HS2, Legal & General, Hobart & Partners, Ellison Institute of Technology, Firethorn Trust, Seven Capital, London Square, Hollybrook Homes, Amro Partners, Mirastar, and the University of Westminster.
