Kat has over 12 years’ experience in the property industry.  She now specialises in student accommodation, the Private Rented Sector (PRS), London fringe developments and strategic consultancy.

 

Kat joined Bidwells in 2005 after graduating from Durham University.  She has since worked in residential and commercial property sectors in London and is now an Associate in the Investment Team.

  • St Leonards House, Lancaster

Student accommodation development funding of 179 beds in Lancaster city centre. Acting for KFIM. Total commitment of £14.34m.

 

  • The Frontage, Nottingham

Prime leisure investment sale on behalf of Frontier Estates with development opportunity for 152 student studios.  The property was purchased by Empiric on a forward funding basis, including the investment purchase of three ground floor restaurants.  Total commitment of £18.8m.

 

  • Cambridge PRS

Advising on the proposed development of 130 PRS units in Cambridge city centre with a GDV of c. £58m.

 

  • Hinton Road, Bournemouth

Site sale in Bournemouth town centre with planning permission for 102 student studios. Acted on behalf of Princeton. Sold for £3m.

 

  • 32 Jack Straw’s Lane, Oxford

Sale of student accommodation and ground floor nursery investment. Acted on behalf of St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Sold for 3.1m.

 

  • Pelham Road, Wimbledon

Advised on the disposal of a vacant care home development opportunity in south west London on behalf of Abbeyfield.  Sold for £3.3m

 

  • Enterprise House, Cambridge

Sale of 17,000 sq ft office building at Vision Park, Cambridge for £5.5m.  Acted on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.

 

  • 157 & 159 High Street, Lincoln

Acted on behalf of a Cambridge College in the acquisition of a newly renovated restaurant with first floor cinema.  Let to Wildwood for 25 years, the property was purchased for £2.02m.

 

  • Taggs Boatyard, Thames Ditton

Sale of a development site on the banks of the Thames, benefitting from planning permission for 9 residential apartments.  Sold for £1.8m.
