Jamie Dix

With both an academic and professional background in Building Surveying, Jamie brings a strong understanding of the commercial factors that drive successful projects alongside having a wider appreciation of the relationship between commercial and technical drivers. 

Jamie works across a wide range of sectors, from schools and universities to police stations and public sector estates. His experience allows him to adapt quickly, apply lessons learned and deliver solutions in a timely manner. Managing a broad range of construction values, with particular emphasis on design team coordination and contractor management, Jamie ensures projects are delivered efficiently, collaboratively and in line with the clients objectives. 

He thrives in multidisciplinary teams, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. Programme management, coordination and communication is at the core of Jamie’s approach. 

Jamie has a strong understanding of building pathology, statutory compliance, risk management and contract administration. He also prioritises maintaining honest and consistent communication throughout duration of a project to ensure that his clients feel heard and supported. Jamie takes time to understand the perspectives and priorities of all stakeholders. 

Jamie is passionate about projects that give buildings a new lease of life, creating long-term value for end users and being part of projects that have a genuine positive impact environmentally, socially and to the wider built environment. 

Jamie is currently working towards his RICS APC qualification to obtain his chartership.
