Starting her career with Bidwells as an apprentice 10 years ago, Gemma has gone full circle and returned to lead our talent acquisition service.
During her time away, Gemma worked for a recruitment agency specialising in the professional services sector across Cambridgeshire. She has always held Bidwells in high regard and is invested in finding the best recruits to drive the growth of the business forward.
Agile working in a modern environment was a huge pull for Gemma when deciding which path her career would take her next. In this new age of remote working, it was refreshing that so many of her colleagues still genuinely wanted to come in to the office and enjoyed being in each other’s company. She enjoys working collaboratively and being around experienced leaders has enabled her to quickly understand the recruitment needs of the business.
Gemma’s decision to return was cemented by Bidwells’ company culture and the investment in its regional offices, which she feels demonstrates that the business genuinely cares about its staff and their wellbeing.
