Ben
Taylor

Partner, Residential Development

Ben has over 13 years’ experience advising landowners, investors and developers on strategic property matters having played a key role in various major transactions in the rural investment and development sectors.

Ben joined Bidwells in 2005 and since then has gone on to successfully lead the Cambridge Rural Agency team (which included co-ordinating the successful acquisition of the Farmcare Portfolio in the largest ever deal of its kind in 2014), before moving to a new role predominantly advising landowners on major residential development projects in 2018.

In addition to providing advice on conditional contracts, options, promotion and joint venture agreements for development schemes, he also advises on wider ongoing estate and land strategy.

Ben has played active roles assisting various significant landowners and businesses to deliver a variety of projects from large scale renewable energy schemes through to land procurement for niche and diversified projects that have ranged from viticulture to aviation.

His experience across two divisions within Bidwells means that he is well placed to assist with new opportunities and ventures that intersect the rural and development sectors.
