The report highlights Bidwells’ continued commitment to embedding purpose into every part of its business, with measurable improvements across key impact areas. In 2025, the firm delivered over £110,000 in charitable donations, supported over 90 charity and community partners, and recorded 2,440 volunteering hours - a 46% increase on 2024. Colleagues also completed 8,112 hours of training, reflecting a 25% rise in learning and development engagement.
Bidwells continued to progress its environmental commitments, reporting a 14% reduction in Scope 1, Scope 2 and selected Scope 3 business travel emissions against its 2019 baseline. While this represents a narrower reduction than previously reported, following improvements to data quality and reporting methodology, the firm continues to strengthen its approach to greenhouse gas monitoring, including the development of a full Scope 3 emissions footprint. Solar panels across its offices generated more than 52 MWh of clean electricity, supporting the firm’s long-term net zero ambitions.
Reflecting on the year, Senior Partner Nick Pettit said:
“Being part of the B Corp community reinforces something we’ve always believed: that how we do business matters just as much as what we achieve. This year has shown us that progress isn’t always straightforward, but it is always worth pursuing. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more determined about where we’re going next.”
The report also outlines Bidwells’ response to the systemic challenges facing the built and rural environment, from climate change and biodiversity loss to social inequality and the persistent lack of diversity in the real estate sector. The firm continued to invest in equity, diversity and inclusion, including strengthening governance, promoting two women to its Senior Leadership Team, and contributing to Real Estate Balance’s 2026 research on closing the leadership gender gap.
Bidwells’ 2025 Colleague Opinion Survey further demonstrated the strength of its culture, with 88% of colleagues proud to work for the firm, 89% recommending it as a great place to work, and 79% confident in the firm’s future direction.
The publication of the Impact Report comes as Bidwells prepares for recertification under B Lab’s new, more rigorous V2 standards. The firm has already taken steps to align with the updated framework, including establishing a new purpose statement, refreshing its ESG Policy, and strengthening its greenhouse gas monitoring with the development of a full Scope 3 emissions footprint.
Bidwells’ commitment to sustainability and responsible business was recognised across the industry in 2025, including winning Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the Estates Gazette Awards and being named Consultant of the Year at the Procure Partnerships Framework Awards.
Pettit added:
“As we look ahead to 2027 and the new B Corp standards, our focus is on deepening our impact, strengthening accountability, and supporting our clients in making thoughtful land‑use and property decisions that create lasting value for people, communities and the environment.”
