Vedhera will continue to build and lead a team in the firm’s Mayfair office, extending a London offer that now spans planning, development and project management, capital markets and property and asset management alongside building surveying.
London is central to Nexus 2030, the strategy Bidwells set out in 2024 to double the size of the business by 2030. The firm’s London planning team now numbers four partners following the arrival of Jamie Sullivan from Iceni in Autumn 2025, Tim Sturgess and Matthew Pigott from Avison Young in April and Laura Jenkinson, who joined as Head of London Planning in June.
The growth of the London office has already translated into major project wins. Bidwells’ London planning team secured a unanimous resolution from Westminster City Council to grant planning permission and listed building consent for the Ellison Institute of Technology’s flagship AI headquarters at 11-12 St James’s Square. Since the merger with Creative Places in January 2026, the combined team has also been involved in Anthropic’s 158,000 sq ft headquarters letting at One Triton Square, Regent’s Place, one of the largest innovation occupier moves in the UK this year.
Vedhera will work with colleagues across Bidwells to bring building surveying expertise to existing and new clients in new locations, supporting them across the full life of their assets, from acquisition and due diligence through to project delivery, dilapidations and long-term asset strategy.
He joins from RLB, where he was Partner and Head of Built Asset Consultancy for National Programmes, and previously spent almost ten years as a Partner at Knight Frank. He has a proven track record of building successful surveying teams, securing and managing relationships with large occupiers and landlords. Vedhera’s experience includes, winning and overseeing the condition survey programme of Tesco’s estate of more than 3,500 properties, and other UK wide surveying programmes for the Post Office, Centrepoint and Sodexo, as well as providing expert dilapidations and due diligence advice for clients such as Westbrook Partners, Civitas Investment Management and Serco.
