The Trimley Estate

Leading real estate advisory Bidwells has announced the appointment of Ben Amos, who joins the firm’s Rural division as an Associate.

Ben joins from Frontier Agriculture, where he spent the past two years as an Agronomist working across the UK from his Cambridgeshire base. He began his career as an Assistant Farming Consultant at Strutt & Parker and has since held roles with Ceres Rural and Wilson Wraight, building a strong track record in farm business management and practical agronomy.

At Bidwells, Ben is working across East Anglia, providing farm management advice with a particular focus on grant funding and Contract Farming Agreements (CFAs). He is also closely involved in management support and supply chain consultancy for clients including McCain.

On the Trimley Estate in Felixstowe, one of the region’s most high‑profile holdings, Ben is playing a key role in reshaping the Estate’s farming enterprise to help enhance returns and manage risk for the landowner Trinity College, Cambridge.

Commenting on the appointment, Roland Bull, Head of Rural at Bidwells, said: “Ben’s work centres on impact. Leaving businesses stronger than he found them by offering clear advice and having honest, practical conversations. His farming and agricultural knowledge bring real depth to our Rural team, and his experience across consultancy and agronomy will be invaluable to clients navigating an increasingly complex landscape.”
