Big Box Databook 2024

The Eastern Distribution Corridor is a key transport artery linking the UK’s main container ports on the east coast with the Midlands and rest of the country.

While take-up of Big Box units fell last year from the exceptional levels seen during the pandemic, there is still healthy demand for good quality units and availability remains low at 3%.

Prime rents on 100,000 to 250,000 sq ft units rose by 7.7% to £10.50 per sq ft in 2023, in-line with inflation.
