In the heart of Cambridge’s CB1 development, 3 and 4 Station Square provides a place for people to work, live, shop and socialise.

These two buildings at Station Square have provided the city with nearly 900 sq m of much needed BREEAM Excellent offices, over 600 sq m of prime retail spaces, several community areas, green space and 89 high quality new homes - all based in the heart of Cambridge. 

These buildings not only blend seamlessly with the existing context and local character of Station Square but enhance it. The public realm is integrated through surrounding buildings, ensuring easy accessibility for all.

The application for these mixed-use buildings were submitted after an 18-month consultation period which included five pre-application meetings with officers and two presentations to the Design and Conservation Panel which unanimously supported the design as well as a public exhibition.


Planning permission was granted in January 2017, with the project only recently completed and the retail and office units let.

3 and 4 Station Square are the final piece to the CB1 puzzle – an area that has grown rapidly over the last 20 years.
