Combining proactivity and enthusiasm, Harriet thrives when finding solutions for challenging schemes. Whether you need advice on how to best to meet tricky policy constraints or need an update on local plans – Harriet’s forward thinking nature will lead to an informed and strategic result.
Harriet has been involved in project work ranging from small to large scale developments, leading on strategic residential schemes and commercial projects, providing high quality advice to clients. She provides an excellent insight into the Cambridge Planning environment with strong relationships with Case Officers and knowledge of the latest policy environment.
Harriet has experience in preparing applications and submitting via the planning portal, monitoring their progress and providing clear updates to clients with advice on possible courses of action to guide clients through the planning application process.
Since joining Bidwells, Harriet has gained a wealth of experience and has progressed to leading on variety of projects including strategic large scale residential developments, while providing high quality support to partners and more senior colleagues on high profile sites within and around Cambridge.
Harriet is a Chartered member of the RTPI, having received her MRTPI qualification in 2020.

There are efforts to make Cambridgeshire and Peterborough more connected and to spread the economic success of Cambridge across the county. As a growth area, it continues to receive central government commitment for significant infrastructure improvements. With investment, there is an expectation for growth and for Local Plans to spearhead it. The ongoing Local Plan process will start to show if individual authorities share overarching economic aspirations.
