Driven to tackle the climate crisis, Andy is passionate about the transition to net zero across the fast-moving renewables sector.
Working primarily with landowners and developers across England and Wales, Andy works on a range of utility scale projects spanning onshore wind, solar, battery energy storage solutions, ancillary grid services and hydrogen. With so much opportunity for renewables, clients are seeking experienced professionals with a track record in the sector.
Andy has had a diverse career in the renewables sector. Working initially as a lawyer specialising in project finance, acting for lenders and developers, he then moved developer side. This varied experience has given him a comprehensive understating and unique perspective of energy and renewables.
His combined legal and development background has also given him a detailed skillset and he is, specifically adept at negotiating land rights through exclusivity, HOTs and option and lease stages. Throughout his career he has worked on over 1GW of onshore wind projects, as well as working on delivering one of the first enhanced frequency battery energy storage services to the National Grid.
Committed to the large-scale climate challenge, Andy is excited to be a part of realising positive change through energy and renewables solutions, bringing forward innovation by implementing new technologies as well as utilising more established technologies.
