David loves nothing more than getting under the skin of large and complicated mixed-use development projects.

He refuses to get lost in the process of delivering the built environment preferring instead to focus on achieving his clients’ end goals.
With more than 14 years’ experience in the property industry, much of it with Savills’ development division in London, David is now regularly returning to his Buckinghamshire roots, working on some of the UK’s most innovative mixed-use developments in Milton Keynes, Oxford and Cambridge.
He loves winning new instructions - not just for the satisfaction of working with new clients - but for the thrill of the kick-off project meeting and the first opportunity to ask the big questions about his clients’ end game.
David’s mixed-use team is currently advising Oxwed, a joint venture between Oxford City Council and Nuffield College, on its ambitious innovation district proposals for the city centre of Oxford; and Socius (formerly FirstBase), on its flagship 210,00 sq ft mixed-use development, MK Gateway, close to Milton Keynes’ train station.
His genial nature means David is most at home talking through challenges with investors and developers before pulling together the right type of development advice for them
