Milton Keynes office market saw strong demand in the first half of 2023, reflecting the city’s continued success in attracting businesses from other locations.

Office demand increased in first half of 2023

Office take-up in Milton Keynes jumped to 480,000 sq ft in the first half of 2023, its highest level in over a decade. Most of the increase was due to Santander which opened its new headquarters at Unity Place. Unity Place also includes serviced offices, restaurants and leisure amenities and will help to re-vitalise the city centre.

The last six months have also seen an increase in office requirements, reflecting Milton Keynes continued success in attracting businesses from other locations. Potential in-movers accounted for 64% of requirements in mid-2023.
