Paragraf specialises in the volume production of graphene-based electronic devices using standard semiconductor processes. The new industrial unit will be used to house additional production lines that will significantly expand Paragraf’s production capacity to meet rapidly increasing market demand.
TG44 provides a rare opportunity to occupy one of two new, high quality industrial/warehouse buildings in a highly prominent location on St Peters Close, the principle commercial road through Huntingdon. The scheme has been constructed to a high specification and both units benefit from being on self-contained sites with fully secure yards. The location offers excellent prominence and road links strategically situated between the midlands and the east coast ports near the intersection of the newly improved A14 and A1.
The 2.75 acre site was acquired by Craigard in Dec 2019 which then comprised a 1970s-built 56,000 sq. ft warehouse. Craigard secured planning permission for two new Grade A spec industrial units of 42,350 sq.ft and 13,877 sq.ft. Craigard instructed Glencar Construction to deliver the two units. Both units reached practical completion in September 2022 with a letting for the larger unit to Paragraf Limited secured via joint agents on the scheme Bidwells and DTRE.
“We are delighted to welcome Paragraf to TG44 and are pleased that they chose our unit for their continued expansion. They are an innovative company who have a very exciting future in advanced microchip manufacturing and therefore someone we are proud to be associated with,” said Craigard Managing Director David Foster. “It is a great result to have the unit let so soon after practical completion and justifies our decision to invest and speculatively build out this development which provide much needed quality buildings for companies such as Paragraf. I must thank Glencar Construction for delivering a great building on time, they were a pleasure to work with and our agents for securing the letting so quickly.”
“We are pleased to have been able to secure an excellent facility which is located close to our existing base, while having excellent links to Cambridgeshire and the rest of the country,” said Paragraf COO Tony Pearce. “The site is sufficiently large to enable us to massively increase our production capacity and then extend further as new advanced manufacturing equipment is brought in to meet the growing demand for graphene-based electronic devices.”
The remaining 13,877 sq. ft TG12 unit is currently available – for more information contact Rory Banks at Bidwells or joint agent DTRE
