Walter Scott Bolsters Industrial Team After Record Year
Walter Scott has joined Bidwells’ Industrial and Logistics team as Partner as the team continues growing after a record-breaking year of big box transactions.
The team transacted 3.2m sq ft of Distribution space in East Anglia during 2020 supporting investors, developers and occupiers in the UK’s booming market.

Walter previously worked in Bidwells’ Lease Consultancy team for 14 years, advising owners on rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructures on large, multi-let industrial estates across the south-east.
Head of Industrial and Logistics at Bidwells, Patrick Stanton, said: “Walter knows the industrial market better than most so is a great fit for the team and our clients, many of whom know him well from his previous work with them.
“The market continues to grow so Walter provides us with a depth of experience and knowledge that our clients can immediately benefit from.”
The industrial and logistics team are currently working on a development pipeline of close to 6m sq ft across the region. Many sites already benefit from planning and with the unprecedented demand they are actively encouraging speculative development where appropriate.
Also joining Bidwells’ Business Space Agency team are Harry Blevins, a graduate surveyor and Jasmine Wayland, an administrator providing maternity cover.
