The Wigmore is famed for its charm and bright green walls. The interior fit out of the building required well-researched advice and industry insight to make the refurbishment as smooth as possible. We secured planning, listed building and advertisement consents for this Grade II listed building.
Researching the original architectural features was an important element of our heritage consultancy. Ensuring the refurbishment stayed true to the property’s original features added value and decreased the risks involved during the refurbishment process.
Martin Brudnizki Design Studio worked on the property’s interior design, delivering an aesthetic inspired by country pubs and taverns.
Remaining sensitive to the listed property, we helped to secure a ramp to the side of the building to ensure The Wigmore was accessible to all.
Complementing the hotel’s existing offering of high-end dining, the refurbishment of The Wigmore needed to deliver a high-quality result. Not only did we deliver planning and listed building consent quickly, but now the Langham Hotel has a tavern that rings true to the building’s heritage.
