Preparation of Heritage Statement to accompany an application for the redevelopment of land at Fitzwilliam Street, currently occupied by a showroom/ warehouse, to provide new student accommodation close to the city centre.
Bidwells worked on the regeneration of the former Chesterton Sidings site to create a new urban quarter and secured planning permission for the new Cambridge North Station, which opened in May 2017. The emerging masterplan proposals for Cambridge North urban quarter incorporate 1 million sq ft commercial floorspace and 700 residential dwellings.

Bidwells was instructed to prepare and submit a full planning application for 46 affordable dwellings and publicly accessible open space in Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire.
For new secondary school in Stotfold
Bidwells was instructed to obtain full planning application for a new school, Pix Brook Academy in Stotfold, comprising a 8,980 sq m main school building, 163 car parking spaces, 267 cycle parking spaces, bus/coach parking spaces, pick-up/ drop-off vehicle loop, sports hall, netball and tennis courts, football pitches, athletics track and games areas.
Biddenham, Bedford Borough
Bidwells was instructed to act as planning adviser on this c.18 hectare residential development for 249 dwellings.

Bidwells Planning team were instructed to promote land on two sites at Market Deeping for residential allocations in the South Kesteven District Council Local Plan (2011-2036).

Bidwells secured Outline Planning Permission for up to 790 new homes, primary school, community buildings, open space and associated infrastructure and is taking forward a Reserved Matters phase of 326 dwellings for the same client.

The scheme will be set within a new high-quality public realm. It will deliver major regeneration benefits by replacing a poorly designed, run-down 1960s centre.
