We provide a wide range of services to charitable and third sector organisations across the UK to assist them in managing their estates and ensure they get best value from their assets within their regulatory framework. We act for several charities with large land holdings and help them to secure best value from their estate through securing planning consent for development and strategically managing their investment portfolio. All public-sector bodies are required to undertake valuations of their operational and investment assets on a regular basis.  We have an excellent knowledge of the RICS Valuation – Professional Standards, IFRS13 and the CIPFA Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in the United Kingdom enabling us to provide compliant valuations for accounting purposes.  We advise our Local Authority clients on component accounting, impairment and the fair value hierarchy and provide valuations of specialist operational properties on a Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) basis where there is no active market.

We also assist our public-sector clients in the efficient and cost-effective management of their estates providing strategic accommodation and estate reviews, valuations and appraisals for purchase and sales, feasibility studies and redevelopment advice.

The education sector requires valuations for a variety of purposes including, loan security, conversion to Academy status, estate management, redevelopment, acquisition and disposal, and reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes.
