Natalie joined Bidwells in 2019 having spent four years working in the public sector for Tandridge and Sevenoaks District Councils. She has a Master of Planning degree and is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Natalie joined Tandridge District Council in 2015 and moved to Sevenoaks District Council in 2018 where she worked as a Senior Planner until she joined Bidwells in February 2019.
During her time in local authority planning, she assessed and determined a wide range of applications, including Lawful Development Certificates, Householder Planning Applications, Full Planning Applications, S73 applications, Advertisement consents and Listed Building consents. In doing so, she has considered the provision of new industrial and commercial units, residential and commercial change of use proposals and new residential developments.
She has extensive experience of holding preapplication discussions with agents and has proven oral and writing skills, which has been evidenced at numerous public presentations at committee meetings. She is able to negotiate in order to add value to developments and is proficient at working under pressure and to tight timescales.
Natalie is now responsible for the preparation of fee proposals, the undertaking of site assessments in order to establish the development potential and the preparation and submission of applications through the planning system.
Natalie is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and currently working towards completing her APC.
