Katrina Candy

She has broad experience in many types of communication having started out as a newspaper journalist before specialising in internal communications with one of the UK’s leading high street retailers. As such, Katrina understands the gravitas that the written and spoken word carries.

Before joining Bidwells, she headed up the Scottish public relations and educational programmes for a UK-wide conservation charity, often acting as spokesperson in the press. Absorbing an in-depth knowledge of the rural environment and the policies which affect it, allowed Katrina to bring a unique skill set to our firm.

A published author, she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists. Alongside public relations, Katrina’s role encompasses internal communications, client engagement, event management, marketing and business development.

She has a personal interest in property development and environmental issues and brings this passion to her role at Bidwells. Her professionalism, creative drive and energy have played a key part in markedly raising Bidwells’ profile - one of the highlights being awarded ‘Employer of the Year’ in 2019.
