Ivan joined Bidwells in September 2017, having completed a Real Estate degree at the University of Reading.
As part of his training towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, he has gained experienced and acquired a diverse range of skills in property consultancy, particularly in development agency and viability analysis.
Ivan provides support to colleagues on a wide range of projects on behalf of house builders, private landowners, trusts, charities and academic institutions.
He also assisted with the disposal of a 1.73-acre residential development site in Letchworth Garden City, preparing sales materials and marketing the site to prospective purchasers.
Ivan is also gaining expertise in assessing the economic viability of developments, including the preparation and interpretation of development appraisals. As well as working alongside senior colleagues in helping clients maximising the value of their land and deliver housing across the south-east regions. Ongoing projects in which he has taken this role include Great Wilsey Park in Haverhill.
Through his academic and professional work, Ivan has developed a strong awareness and understanding of local and regional housing markets. He frequently undertakes research into the planning and policy context of local authorities, reporting to clients and colleagues on the potential opportunities and constraints that may exist for residential development.
Great Wilsey Park:
The Great Wilsey Park development is a large mixed-use urban extension of Haverhill. It will deliver 2,500 dwellings, two local centres and a Country Park. Ivan assists the team on the disposal strategy of the site.
Foundation House, Letchworth Heritage Foundation, Letchworth Garden City:
Ivan assisted colleagues in acting on behalf of Letchworth Heritage Foundation for the marketing and disposal of Foundation House and its adjoining land in Letchworth Garden City. Foundation House and the adjoining land benefited from a residential allocation in North Hertfordshire’s emerging local plan.
