Georgina has over 2 years’ experience advising on heritage matters in the private sector.
Georgina is a Senior Planner within the Heritage team, based in the Cambridge office. She has previously worked in the private sector in Hertfordshire and has a detailed knowledge of both urban and rural historic environments.
She works across sectors, carrying out a number of services, assisting in all heritage-related development opportunities.
Georgina can undertake Significance Assessments for all types of heritage assets, including those which are non-designated, in order to understand their heritage value. This includes research into the historic development of the site, research into the planning and photographic surveys where required.
Georgina also produces Impact Assessments to accompany Listed Building Consents and Planning Permissions, including Outline applications, to provide detailed assessment and evaluation of impacts, with particular focus on how and to what extent any impacts deriving from the proposals would affect the special interest of the identified heritage assets. This includes an analysis of the relevant national and local heritage policy and guidance.
Georgina’s planning experience, combined with her MSc in Historical Conservation, also allows her to give relevant and succinct advice with regard to all planning matters involving the historic environment.
