Georgina has been working in the private sector advising on planning and heritage matters since 2014.

 

Georgina is a Senior Planner within the Planning and Heritage teams, based in the Cambridge office. She has previously worked in the private sector in Hertfordshire and has a detailed knowledge of both urban and rural planning and heritage matters.

She works across sectors, carrying out a number of services, assisting in a wide variety of development management and policy-based planning work and heritage-related development opportunities.

Georgina has prepared representations to Local Plan examinations to promote sites for allocation, and worked to bring allocations forward through the planning process. She has experience preparing and submitting planning applications, as well as varying and discharging planning conditions.

Georgina can undertake Significance Assessments for all types of heritage assets, including those which are non-designated, in order to understand their heritage value. Georgina also produces Impact Assessments to accompany Listed Building Consents and Planning Permissions, including Outline applications, to provide detailed assessment and evaluation of impacts, with particular focus on how and to what extent any impacts deriving from the proposals would affect the special interest of the identified heritage assets.

Georgina’s planning and heritage qualifications allow her to give relevant and succinct advice with regard to all planning and heritage matters.
