Beth
Duchesne

Agribusiness Consultant

Beth joined Bidwells in 2014 having graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Agriculture with Farm Business Management from Harper Adams University.

Beth has been brought up on the family farm and has worked in both the farming, contracting and diversification elements of the business from the farm office to harvest.  Beth found the business and consultancy elements of her degree interesting and wished to combine her passion for agriculture with this knowledge.

Beth has developed her role at Bidwells further by being a part of the Graduate Development Programme.  This blends with not only the study she has undertaken but also her previous experience with Syngenta where she worked with the research, development and commercial teams assisting with various arable trials.

Currently Beth is developing a portfolio of clients with a focus on Basic Payment Scheme, Entry and Higher Level Stewardship Schemes and the new Countryside Stewardship Schemes.

Beth takes an active role as Vice-Chair for her local Young Farmers Club and has attended the Lord Mayor's Show in London promoting agriculture.  She also assists with education days advising and guiding Secondary school students in careers in agriculture.
