Andrew is an asset management and development specialist who always looks to secure the best outcome for his client’s specific requirements
Andrew works with a wide spectrum of clients from private landowners and charities to national housebuilders. He takes satisfaction from the knowledge that when he has brokered a good deal, the growth of value which has been generated will make a tangible difference.
A long-term project for Andrew has been the asset management plan for an 8,500-acre Perthshire estate. 44 individual farming operations were analysed alongside the commercial and development potential. The goal? Gaining maximum return for his client via land sales, adding more value through planning permissions.
Andrew has also led our Crown Estate Scotland Marine Management team for 20+ years, bringing extraordinary variety to his role. He deals with the extremes of some of Europe’s most remote communities to major commercial port developments across the country.
Sensitivity is key - the smallest project on paper can have a huge local impact and Andrew is well tuned-in to handle any scenario. A development specialist, he enjoys technical challenges - from a thousand-house urban development to a new distillery on the West Coast.
