More than 250 property professionals heard our head of science and technology David Williams tell an NLA webinar that Bidwells predicts a 15-20m sq ft increase in demand for offices and labs across the OX-Cam Arc over the next two decades.
David was delivering a whistle-stop tour of the commercial property market across the Arc at a recent New London Architecture (NLA) webinar.
The 15 minute presentation preceded a panel discussion around the NLA’s new piece of science and technology sector research entitled 'Knowledge Networks: London and the Ox-Cam Arc' - launched in partnership with Bidwells last week.
You can watch David's presentation here.
The report explores the unique ecosystem of knowledge intensive companies in the Golden Triangle with a particular focus in technology, medicine and life sciences. In response the unprecedented crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the report highlights how the knowledge economy sector is more critical than ever.
Also on the webinar panel were:
- Peter Baird, Senior Associate, Perkins and Will
- Charles Walford, Property Director, Stanhope
- Emma Frost, Director of Innovation, Sustainability and Community, LLDC
- Jodie Eastwood, Chief Executive, Knowledge Quarter
