      The team won:

      • Project of the Year award for the HB Allen Centre, Keble College
      • Best Interior (Cool and Funky) for OSI’s (Oxford Sciences Innovation) The Grassroots
      • Property Agent of the Year

The awards are run each year by UK Property Forums and were presented by CEO of Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s (OXLEP), Nigel Tipple and Jayne Norris, Director at Edgars Planning.

Partner in project management Derek Farrow collected the Best Project award for Keble College.

The project was constructed on the site of an old hospital, and included 255 accommodation rooms, high class conference facilities and a basement let to OSI’s The Grassroots.

Sam Potts, Partner in building surveying, picked up the interior award for the team’s work in OSI’s 2,000 sqm open-plan hub, which was designed for start-ups to incubate, collaborate and innovate and described by judges as ‘Oxford’s latest and definitely funkiest workspace’.

The Best Agent award was handed to David Williams after a busy year leading Bidwells' science and technology advisory team. His clients include Oxford Sciences Innovations and David also leads the Bidwells agency team at the Harwell science campus in Oxfordshire - which currently accommodates 5,500 people across 200 organisations including the UK’s largest Space cluster.

Head of Bidwells Oxford office, Richard Todd, said:

“I couldn’t be more proud to be part of this team. Winning three awards in one night is an amazing and satisfying achievement for everyone, and I do mean everyone. Our office has grown in size and stature in recent years and has really pulled together during the Covid crisis so we will all enjoy this one - just not all in the same room!”
