An expert in adapting listed college buildings, Matt Tromans, has joined property consultants Bidwells’ award-winning Oxford team.

Matt is to join the team as an Associate Architect and will enhance the offer of the 180-year-old firm’s building consultancy team across the Oxford end of the Oxford to Cambridge Arc, focusing on advising clients on the viability of their project from an architectural angle, and solving difficult problems early in the design process.

The former Senior Architect at Purcell has had integral roles in a number of landmark Oxford projects including St Catherine’s and St Antony’s Oxford colleges and detailing Rowan Atkinson’s RIBA award winning house in Oxfordshire.

He said:

“Oxfordshire has a diverse and complex range of architecture within its borders. The expertise within Bidwells offer clients an invaluable asset to assist them with their futures, and are a firm I am delighted to now be a part of.
