Leading property consultants Bidwells has doubled the size of its Heritage team with eight consultants now working across the Golden Triangle of Cambridge, London and Oxford.
Part of the planning division, the specialist team provides a wide range of expertise relating to historic buildings and areas, as well as research and design advice.
Chris Surfleet, Head of Heritage & Urban Design Studio, has a wealth of experience in this field, and leads the team of built-heritage professionals working nationally from the firm’s Oxford - Cambridge Arc offices.
The most recent addition to the team is Eleanor Grace, who joins as a Senior Heritage Consultant to support the growing London business.
Georgina Pickett, based in Cambridge, has been promoted within the team to Principal Heritage Consultant in recognition of her work on several key projects including Hockley Mills in Birmingham, Fitzwilliam Street in Sheffield and Bush Hall Hotel in Hatfield.

The services provided by the team include: significance assessments, heritage impact assessments, heritage statements, townscape appraisals, conservation management plans, setting impact assessments, advice on alterations and extensions to heritage assets, design advice in relation to listed buildings and conservation areas, design and access statements in relation to heritage assets, conservation area appraisals, and expert witness advice.
