Demand rises to the highest level on record, with 5.1m sq ft of requirements

Bidwells has released its Spring 2020 Oxfordshire industrial research which reveals that 2019 ended the year with 20% of all available stock across the market under offer, after 12 months of limited supply curtailing take up. The space shortages drove a further sharp increase in the prime rent, rising by almost 17% over the year to £14 psf.

With demand at its highest level on record, the circa the 800 sq ft of speculative industrial, distribution and R&D development currently or soon to be under way across Oxfordshire and Bicester will be welcomed.
