Milton Keynes saw take-up return to trend levels during H1 despite COVID-19 disruption.
While some larger requirements have been placed on hold due to the uncertainty, SMEs remain active with units of 20,000 sq ft or less accounting for 90% of demand. The science and tech sectors are key drivers of new space needs.
Recent months also saw construction start on Santander’s new 310,000 Technology Hub in central Milton Keynes. The new HQ is due to open in H2 2022 and with MK:U will provide a further boost to the city’s tech ecosystem.
