Cambridge remains a magnet for science and technology companies

Bidwells' latest research paper reveals above average take-up and a shortage of available new or second hand space in the latter half of 2018 saw prime office rents edge up to £41.50 psf.

Brexit undoubtedly hangs over the market, but Cambridgeshire remains a magnet for science and technology companies that are looking beyond the current uncertainty.

As a result, 85% of the 0.6 m sq ft of new space completing in H1 2019 is already committed or under offer as businesses seek to circumvent the tightness of the market.
