Great Wilsey Park is located to the north east of Haverhill.

The site has been successfully promoted through the planning system and currently benefits from a resolution to grant planning permission for up to 2,500 dwellings, two primary school, two local centres, and over 200 acres of open space.

 

What we did

  • Acted for the landowner in procuring an optimum promotion and disposal strategy for the site, which resulted in the appointment of Hallam Land Management as Promoter

  • Monitored the obligations placed on the Promoter to ensure the objectives of the Promotion Agreement were satisfied

  • Currently advising on the commerciality of the draft Section 106 Agreement

     

  • Instructed to draft the disposal strategy for the site and implement this accordingly

  • Undertook a soft marketing campaign to inform the size and structure of this strategy. The opportunity was formally launched in Q4 2017

  • Currently in the in the process of advising the landowner and Promoter to determine the preferred purchaser

  • The site obtained a resolution to grant planning permission in March 2017

     

  • Successful tender resulting in the instruction of Hallam Land Management Limited as Promoter

  • Resolution to grant planning permission achieved within three years from signing of the Promotion Agreement with minimal cost incurred by the landowner

  • Positive response to the disposal strategy with selection of preferred purchaser imminent
