for Housing Development

Bidwells was appointed to prepare a Socioeconomic chapter within an Environmental Impact Assessment for a housing led development in rural Norfolk, with associated maltings employment.

 What we did

 

  • Prepared a Socioeconomic Scoping Report for the EIA

  • Analysis of the current baseline position in housing, education, open space, community buildings, health facilities and employment

  • Advised client on onsite and off-site community infrastructure requirements

  • Analysis of the significance of the impact of the final scheme in line with EIA regulations

Result

 

  • Environmental Impact Assessment submitted with the planning application in March 2020: decision awaited
