Bidwells was instructed to prepare and submit two reserved matters applications for a total of 386 dwellings on Land North of Aston Clinton Road, Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire.
What we did
-
Prepared and submitted a reserved matters application for 132 dwellings for phase 1 of the site, followed by a preparation and submission of a second reserved matters application for 256 dwellings covering phases 2 & 3 of the site pursuant to the outline planning permission
-
Throughout the course of both applications, we led-extensive discussions with Aylesbury Vale District Council and agreed terms of two Planning Performance Agreements (PPAs) between the Client and the Council
-
Our input in preparation of the PPAs helped facilitate proactive discussions with the Council and negotiation on
design and technical matters for the scheme -
The PPA also allowed us to focus on reaching agreements for certain timeframes in respect of the applications including; project meetings; consultation responses to the application; submission of amendments/additional information and determination of the applications
Result
-
Secured approval of reserved matters for the layout, appearance, scale and landscaping for a total of 386 dwellings under two separate applications
-
Both reserved matters applications were determined by the Council under delegated authority to the Planning Officer, covering a 12-month period between submission of the first application for phase 1 to approval of the second application for phases 2 & 3
