North West Bicester is the UK’s first and only eco town to both adhere to PPS1 and also to true zero carbon on a development of this scale. Covering 1,000 acres on the edge of Bicester, it will add 6,000 new homes, four new primary schools, a new secondary school, country park and recreational facilities, community allotments and farm, and shops, medical, food and community amenities in three locations across the scheme.
