Listed Building Consent secured for unauthorised works at a Grade II* listed property.
What we did
During the sale of the property a number of unauthorised works were identified, including the construction of plant, storage rooms and a pergola which were attached to a curtilage listed wall. These works were required to be regularised by the vendor
An application for Listed Building Consent was submitted, which was accompanied by a thoroughly researched Heritage Statement which robustly justified the proposals in heritage terms
We negotiated with the council to secure Listed Building Consent to regularise the legal position of the works and enable completion of the sale
