Listed Building Consent secured for unauthorised works at a Grade II* listed property.

What we did

  • During the sale of the property a number of unauthorised works were identified, including the construction of plant, storage rooms and a pergola which were attached to a curtilage listed wall. These works were required to be regularised by the vendor

  • An application for Listed Building Consent was submitted, which was accompanied by a thoroughly researched Heritage Statement which robustly justified the proposals in heritage terms


  • We negotiated with the council to secure Listed Building Consent to regularise the legal position of the works and enable completion of the sale
