The Clay Farm site is located approximately 3.7 km south of Cambridge city centre.
Once completed, the development will provide up to 2,300 new homes and an extensive area of strategic open space between Hobson’s Brook and the railway line, together with provision of education facilities, sports and recreation, health and community facilities and local shopping facilities.
What we did
Advised the landowners on the planning, promotion and appointment of a lead developer on the Clay Farm development, as well as the Cambridge Medipark development which comprises the proposed Addenbrooke’s expansion and provision of a new commercial research and development campus
Advised the landowners on many detailed valuation aspects as well as on the appointment of a private sector partner/developer to deliver both of these projects
Clay Farm was sold to Countryside and is known as ‘Great Kneighton’ a premium housing development on the southern fringes of Cambridge
Bidwells were instructed by Countryside to sell serviced parcels to third parties
